She graduated from Tbilisi State Medical University in Pediatrics and furthered her postgraduate education in the field of ICU at the same institution. In 2001, she was awarded a Doctor of Medicine degree with a focus on pediatrics from the New York Academy of Sciences.

Throughout her career, Dr. Kikodze has made significant contributions to the development of emergency services in the country. She has worked closely with leading global institutions, including Emory University (Atlanta, USA) and Mayo Clinic (Minnesota, USA), which facilitated the implementation of key projects at Iashvili Children's Hospital.

Dr. Kikodze is the author of numerous scientific papers and medical publications and is a co-author of the guide titled Refined Algorithm for Managing Pediatric Emergency Conditions, which was later translated into Georgian.

She is the founder and president of the Pediatric Emergency Medical Care Association and has led the pediatric emergency care physician training program since 2015.

Dr. Shengelia graduated from Tbilisi State Medical University (TSMU) with a specialization in pediatrics, followed by clinical residency and postgraduate training in pediatric onco-hematology. In 1982, she defended her candidate’s dissertation in Moscow, earning the title of Doctor of Medicine (MD). In 1998, she attained the advanced degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences (DMSc) after defending her doctoral dissertation. Since 2006, she has served as a professor at the Department of Hematology at TSMU.

Dr. Shengelia enhanced her clinical expertise through advanced training at university hospitals in Frankfurt and Freiburg, Germany, as well as in other leading pediatric institutions worldwide.

She is the President of the Georgian Association of Pediatric Hematologists and Onco-Hematologists and serves as an expert on onco-hematology for Georgia’s Ministry of Health and the National Academy of Sciences. Dr. Shengelia has authored 45 scientific papers, three national guidelines, and two monographs (Non-Hodgkin Lymphomas in Children and Acute Leukemias in Children).

Her contributions to medical science have earned her numerous accolades, including the Georgian National Award and a scientific grant from the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation. In 2017, she was honored with a United Nations Certificate of Recognition for her achievements in medical research.

Dr. Bidzina Kanashvili, an academic doctor and professor in medicine, is a distinguished orthopedic and trauma surgeon with over 14 years of clinical experience.

After graduating from Tbilisi State Medical University, Dr. Kanashvili pursued advanced training in orthopedic and trauma surgery at the same institution. He later earned his PhD in Medicine from New Vision University. His professional development includes specialized training at Alfred I. Dupont Hospital for Children in the United States and completion of a prestigious fellowship program at the University of Hong Kong's clinical facilities.

In 2020, Dr. Kanashvili was awarded the title of Associate Professor in Orthopedics and Traumatology at Tbilisi Medical Academy. Since 2023, he has served as a Full Professor and Head of Surgical Education at Georgian American University. Dr. Kanashvili is the author of nine internationally published articles and a co-author of two additional publications.

Dr. Tsikarishvili is a member of the Georgian Neurosurgical Society, the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS), the Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS), the European Association of Neurosurgical Societies (EANS), and the European Section of the AOSpine. He has published over 30 scientific articles and is the author of two monographs. In 2009, under his editorial leadership, an adapted Georgian translation of the clinical guideline for the management of aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage, developed by the American Heart and Stroke Associations, was published.

Dr. Nana Tskhakaia is an experienced pediatrician with over 50 years of professional experience, specializing in pediatric pulmonology and phthisiology. She is a Professor and the Head of the Pediatric Division in the Respiratory Medicine Department, having devoted much of her career to pediatric respiratory care. Since 1976, her professional activities have been closely associated with the Iashvili Children's Clinic, a leading medical institution in Georgia.

Dr. Tskhakaia completed her medical studies at Tbilisi State Medical University, graduating with a degree in Pediatrics. She then pursued clinical training in phthisiology at the Tuberculosis and Pulmonary Diseases Department of Tbilisi State Medical University, followed by a specialization in pediatrics. In 1988, she defended her candidate dissertation on bacterial lung destructions in children, earning her a Candidate of Medical Sciences degree. In 2004, she completed her doctoral dissertation on the pathogenesis of childhood tuberculosis, receiving her Doctor of Medical Sciences degree.

Dr. Tskhakaia has continuously advanced her qualifications abroad, including completing a program at the Allergy-Pulmonology Department of the University of Iowa, USA. She is an active member of several national and international professional organizations, including:

Dr. Solomonia currently leads the Department of Critical Care for Neonates and Infants at the Iashvili Children's Hospital and coordinates the neonatal residency program at Vian.

She earned her medical degree from Tbilisi State Medical University, specializing in pediatrics, and completed her internship at M. Iashvili Children's Central Hospital. Prior to her international training, Dr. Solomonia worked in various pediatric clinics in Tbilisi.

To enhance her qualifications, Dr. Solomonia pursued several clinical courses abroad, including specialized training at the Cork Epileptology Pediatric Center (Germany) and the Pediatric Department of Marburg Children's Hospital (Germany).

She is the lead coordinator and co-author of a grant program titled Asthma and Its Management in High-Risk Patients, which is affiliated with the Kirpatrick Family Medicine Center (USA). Furthermore, Dr. Solomonia completed a specialized course in Perinatal Medicine at Huron Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio, after which she obtained her ECFMG certification following successful completion of the U.S. licensing exams.

Additionally, Dr. Solomonia underwent a four-year clinical fellowship in neonatology at the University of Kentucky’s Medical Center, during which she was awarded the title of Senior Fellow in Neonatology and won the Young Neonatologists’ Scientific Conference Award. She is also a co-author of a chapter in the commemorative edition of the textbook Gomella’s Neonatology.

Dr. Solomonia holds a medical license from the state of Kentucky and has completed specialized neonatal programs, including NRP and STABLE, for which she is a certified regional instructor. She has contributed to multiple national guidelines in Georgia and is the author of the continuous medical education program for neonatology at Vian. Dr. Nino Totoghashvili is an Assistant Professor at David Tvildiani Medical University and holds state certifications in hematology, oncology, and transfusion medicine. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Freiburg.

She completed a two-year clinical internship at the Onco-Hematology Center of the Freiburg University Hospital, specializing in hematology, oncology, and stem cell transplantation. She periodically undergoes further training at various clinics in the United States and Germany.

She serves as the National Coordinator for the treatment protocol of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL-IC-BFM) in Georgia and participates in annual working meetings of this group’s conferences. In 2017, the American Society of Hematology (SOHO) awarded her the title of Ambassador for Georgia.

Dr. Totoghashvili is an expert in pediatric onco-hematology for the Ministry of Health and Social Affairs of Georgia. She is also the President of the Georgian Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Association and an active member of the International Society of Pediatric Oncology (SIOP).

Nino Tsereteli is a radiologist with 30 years of professional experience. She has been heading the Ultrasonography Diagnostic Department at Iashvili Children's Hospital since 2006. In addition to her role at the hospital, she has been a TOT (Training of Trainers) trainer since 2020.

Nino Tsereteli graduated from the Faculty of Pediatrics at Tbilisi State Medical University and continued her post-graduate education in the same field. She completed her medical internship in ultrasonography at the Clinical Medicine Institute. In 2006, she received a state certification in radiology.

She has advanced her qualifications through various international programs. Notably, she completed clinical training at the Pediatric Academy in St. Petersburg, specializing in ultrasonographic examination of joints.

Dr. Paata Giorgadze is an academic Doctor of Medicine with 37 years of professional experience in the field of urology. Since 2018, he has been serving as the Head of the Urology Department at the Iashvili Children's Central Hospital

Dr. Giorgadze graduated from the Pediatric Medical Institute in St. Petersburg. Afterward, he completed his clinical residency in urology at the Tbilisi Medical Academy. To further enhance his expertise, he pursued additional qualification training at leading medical institutions in the West, including prestigious children's hospitals in Israel and Austria. Furthermore, Dr. Giorgadze gained valuable clinical experience in Belarus, specializing in urology at the National Transplantation Center in Minsk and the Second Children's Hospital of Minsk.

In 2007, Dr. Giorgadze earned the title of Doctor of Medicine. He is the author of over 20 scientific papers and has contributed extensively to the field of urology.

Dr. Sandro Kiladze leads the Department of Transplantation Medicine at the Children's Central Hospital of Iashvili. His primary medical and scientific interests include general surgery, pediatric surgery, oncological surgery, and transplantology.

Dr. Kiladze graduated from Tbilisi State Medical University and completed his clinical residency in general surgery in Minsk, Belarus. He has worked in organ transplantation in Minsk and at the Shumakov Center for Organ Transplantation in Moscow.

He furthered his specialization in Turkey, Croatia, Hungary, and Germany. Dr. Kiladze is a member of the European Transplantation Society, under whose auspices he participated in liver, biliary tract, and organ transplantation departments in Turkey and Croatia during 2018-2019. He is also a member of the Georgian Transplantology Association.

Dr. Sopho Tsertsvadze is a graduate of Tbilisi State Medical University (TSMU) and a pediatrician with extensive experience. She serves as a faculty member for the Pediatric Clerkship of an American program, a lecturer in the Pediatric Module at David Tvildiani Medical University and Georgian University, and a doctoral candidate at Tbilisi State Medical University.

Dr. Tsertsvadze completed clinical training at the University Clinic of Innsbruck (Austria), participated in the Pediatric Summer School of the European Respiratory Society, and trained at Emory University Hospital (Atlanta, USA). Additionally, she completed a joint educational program in hospital management through Georgian University, Caucasus University, and Scranton University (USA).

Dr. Tsertsvadze is an active member of the Georgian Respiratory Association and serves on the organizing committee of several international congresses. She has participated in over 50 international conferences and seminars and is the author of 22 scientific publications.
