Sandro Kiladze heads the Transplantology Department at Iashvili Children’s Hospital. His main areas of medical and scientific interest are general surgery, pediatric surgery, oncosurgery, and transplantology.
He graduated from Tbilisi State Medical University and completed clinical residency in general surgery in Belarus (Minsk). He worked in Minsk in the organ transplantation department, as well as in the organ transplantation department at the Shumakov Center in Moscow.
He advanced his qualifications in Turkey, Croatia, Hungary, and Germany. He is a member of the European Society for Organ Transplantation, under whose auspices he worked in Turkey and Croatia in 2018-2019 in the liver, biliary tract, and organ transplantation department. He is also a member of the Georgian Transplantologists Association.
