Baia Grdzelidze

Baia Grdzelidze is a young radiologist who joined M. Iashvili Children’s Central Hospital in 2025.

After graduating from Tbilisi State Medical University, she continued her residency in radiology, followed by a subspecialization program in magnetic resonance and computed tomography. Simultaneously, for professional development, Baia Grdzelidze participated in an exchange program in Hungary. She also completed clinical practices in leading Turkish clinics (Atatürk University Clinic, SamsunUniversity Hospital, Atatürk University Clinic in Erzurum). She is:

  • Member of the European Society of Radiology (ESR);
  • Member of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA);
  • Member of the European Society of Neuroradiology (ESNR);
  • Member of the Georgian Society of Neuroradiology (GSNR);

Under the aegis of the European School of Radiology and the European Society of Neuroradiology, Baia Grdzelidze participated in a 3-month exchange program at the Neuroradiology Department of Atatürk Research Hospital in Izmir.

Baia Grdzelidze is the author of 5 scientific-educational articles in ESR/RSNA Neuroradiology. Additionally, she is a fellow in Diagnostic and Pediatric Radiology – (Open Medical Institute (OMI) Salzburg, Austria).
