Academic Doctor of Medicine and Professor, Bidzina Kanashvili is a surgical orthopedic-traumatologist with 14 years of professional experience.
After graduating from Tbilisi State Medical University, he continued his professional development in orthopedic-traumatology at the same university, and later received his Academic Doctor of Medicine degree at New Vision University. He completed professional training in the United States at Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children. He also successfully completed a fellowship program at the University of Hong Kong clinic.
In 2020, he received the title of Associate Professor in Traumatology-Orthopedics at Tbilisi Medical Academy. He is the author of 7 international articles and co-author of 2 articles.
Bidzina Kanashvili is one of the founders of the Association of Pediatric Trauma and Orthopedic Surgery in Georgia. He is also a member of the International Society of Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology (SICOT), the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), and the Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America (POSNA).
