David Makhatadze is a highly qualified professional with 47 years of work experience who holds the position of gastroenterologist at Iashvili Pediatric Clinic.
He graduated from the Faculty of Pediatrics at Tbilisi State Medical Institute. He continued his studies in pediatric gastroenterology first at the same university, and then at the First Moscow Medical Institute. He holds state certificates in pediatrics and pediatric gastroenterology.
David Makhatadze permanently participates in medical trainings and conferences. Among them, he was in Ireland under the auspices of a clinical research group.
The Certification Commission of the Ministry of Health of Georgia awarded David Makhatadze the title of highest category physician in 1993. He is the founder and honorary president of the Georgian Association of Pediatric Gastroenterologists.
