She graduated from Tbilisi State Medical University. She received her postgraduate education first at M. Iashvili Children’s Central Hospital, and then studied clinical immunology at the Institute of Biotechnology of the Georgian Academy of Sciences.
She is an expert on early development issues for the UNICEF Georgia office and a member of the National Guidelines Council of the Ministry of Labor, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia.
She has published 123 scientific papers, including 59 in peer-reviewed publications and 23 in international scientific journals. She is also the author of 5 national guidelines. She periodically participates in the development of several methodological recommendations and textbooks.
