Gvantsa Jajanidze heads the rheumatology department at Iashvili Children’s Hospital. She is:
• Member of the Pediatric Rheumatology European Society (PreS);
• Member of the European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR);
• Member of the Pediatric Rheumatology European Research Organization;
• Member of the Georgian Rheumatology Association;
• Member of the Georgian Respiratory Association;
• Representative of Georgia in the European Network for Young Rheumatologists (EMERGE);
She graduated from the Faculty of Pediatrics at Tbilisi State Medical University and continued postgraduate studies in rheumatology in the Czech Republic. She holds state certificates in pediatrics, pediatric cardio-rheumatology, and pediatric emergency medicine.
She enhanced her qualifications in Western countries, including completing an autoinflammatory diseases course in Switzerland (JIR Winter School), a vasculitis course organized by the European League Against Rheumatism in Italy, and many others.
Gvantsa Jajanidze is also actively engaged in educational activities. She is an invited lecturer at David Tvildiani Medical University, Caucasus International University, and the American Program of Tbilisi State Medical University.
