Lela Tsakadze is the Quality Control Director at M. Iashvili Children’s Central Hospital. Since 2024, she has been an auditor for the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities International (AACI) in Georgia.
She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Tbilisi State Medical University, after which she completed the South Caucasus Field Epidemiology and Laboratory Training Program in epidemiology. Additionally, in 2017 she successfully completed a management course at the Bank of Georgia University. She holds state certificates in phthisiology and pulmonology.
Her professional experience dates back to 1994. For 20 years, she worked as a phthisiologist-pulmonologist at the National Center for Tuberculosis and Lung Diseases. She also served as the chief epidemiologist at the medical corporation Evex. Parallel to her clinical activities, Lela Tsakadze was a member of the technical group working on creating infection prevention and control guidelines and the country’s coordination council. Since 2016, she has been a visiting lecturer at the Public Nursing College of David Tvildiani Medical University.
