Natia Chkhaidze

Natia Chkhaidze is an experienced pediatrician who holds the position of pediatrician in the Respiratory Medicine Department at M. Iashvili Children’s Central Hospital.

She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Tbilisi State Medical University and completed a summer clinical internship in emergency medicine at TSMU. She studied pediatric residency at the same university and obtained a state license as a pediatrician.

Natia Chkhaidze is also engaged in academic activities. She is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the International Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry of TSMU. Additionally, she participates in clinical research both in Georgia and abroad. She is also a co-author of 3 national protocols:

  • “Diagnosis, Management, and Prevention of Novel Coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) Infection (COVID-19) in Pediatric Patients” – Co-author;
  • “Diagnosis, Prevention, and Management of Ventilator-Associated Pneumonia in Children” – Co-author;
  • “Diagnosis, Prevention, and Management of Hospital-Acquired Pneumonia in Children” – Co-author;

Natia Chkhaidze regularly participates in clinical symposiums and congresses.
