Soso Chabakauri is a young orthopedic-traumatologist who serves pediatric patients in the same field at Iashvili Children’s Hospital.
He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Tbilisi State Medical University. He received his postgraduate education first in Ukraine at the P.L. Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education in Kiev, and later returned to Georgia to study traumatology at Tbilisi State Medical University.
Soso Chabakauri’s first steps as a junior physician are connected to Iashvili Children’s Clinic (2012). He joined the hospital as an orthopedic-traumatologist in 2023.
Parallel to his medical practice and subsequent work as a qualified physician, Soso Chabakauri enhanced his qualifications in various fields. Among these, he completed educational courses of the European Association of Orthopaedic Traumatologists (EAOT) (in 2015 and 2017) and participated in clinical training of the European Paediatric Orthopaedic Society (EPOS).
He is a co-founder of the Georgian Association of Pediatric Orthopedics and Surgery.
