Department of Maxillofacial Surgery

The Department of Maxillofacial Surgery offers a full range of services to pediatric patients. Complete outpatient services and 24hour inpatient care are available. The department successfully performs both emergency and planned surgical treatments of the oral cavity and maxillofacial region. Surgeries are performed using both traditional methods, as well as intraoral approaches, which eliminate postoperative scars and sutures.

More specifically, we perform:

  • Surgical treatment of congenital/acquired jaw development anomalies;
  • Surgical treatment of trigeminal nerve and facial nerve pathologies;
  • Surgery of maxillofacialarea surgical infections;
  • Surgery of oral cavity and maxillofacialarea tumors;
  • Reconstructive operations for posttraumatic maxillofacial deformities;
  • Surgical treatment of salivary gland diseases;
  • Surgical treatment of temporomandibular joint disorders;
  • Surgical correction/plastic surgery of post-operative scars;
  • Treatment of age-related, retained teeth (canines and wisdom teeth-8) ;
  • Treatment of maxillofacialarea inflammatory diseases (phlegmons, abscesses, periostitis) and more;


The Maxillofacial Surgery Department is available 24 hours a day and provides comprehensive emergency medical care to patients.
