Immunization Center

The Immunization Center provides comprehensive vaccination services, which serves as a preventive mechanism against many diseases and seasonal infections. The office performs both routine, preventive vaccinations according to the national calendar by age category, as well asseasonal flu shots, non-routine and targeted vaccinations.

Age-specific routine immunization targets diseases such as, pertussis, measles, rubella, mumps, Hepatitis B, diphtheria, tuberculosis, rotavirus, pneumococcus, tetanus, polio and others. In Georgia current immunization according to the calendar, the first immunization for newborns in the maternity ward, immediately after birth is administered (tuberculosis and B hepatitis vaccination), after which resistance to infectious diseases increases.

Non-routine vaccination includes mono and multi-component vaccines targeting meningitis, Hepatitis A, chickenpox, and human papillomavirus. The center also offers Covid-19 and seasonal flu vaccinations.

The center develops individual immunization schedules for pediatric patients, who have various types of conditions (genetic, hematological, oncological, neurological…). Vaccination is carried out with the latest, internationally recognized preparations.
